Marzipan. Nutmeg. Blackcurrant. Balanced and velvety.
The idea behind our blend is to create a harmonious and balanced espresso: offering a hint of excitement alongside versatility and drinkability.
We adjust our blend components seasonally and select coffees that taste that great on their own, but also enhance each other in the cup. Before we launch a new version of the blend, we trial several roast profiles for each coffee and do comprehensive testing, with the aim of balancing the components in terms of flavour and extraction.
The current blend consists of equal parts Miaky (pulped natural Brazil) and Palmichal (washed Colombian). The Miaky offers a rich and clean flavour palette of chocolate, fudge and marzipan, contributing a dense body and velvety mouthfeel. Adding the Palmichal elevates the brightness of the cup, bringing notes of blackcurrant and citrus zest. Together these coffees make a mouth-coating, delicious espresso, which is perfect for the winter season.
